We generally don’t bother to reprint the outrageous anti-choice views of the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), but we couldn’t let these two stories pass. First, the New York Daily News reports on PETA taking its scientifically baseless and absolutely disgusting anti-milk campaign to schools in Vermont and New York. As if trying to scare children away from the best calcium source they can get for their growing bones isn’t bad enough, PETA’s European campaign coordinator says, “Serving a burger to your family today, knowing what we know, constitutes child abuse. You might as well give them weedkiller.”
