Why is PCRM lobbying Congress?
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is an animal rights group, not a mainstream medical charity. It's lobbying federal legislators in an attempt to hurt ranchers and other livestock farmers. Despite the word "physicians" in its name, less than 4 percent of the group's members graduated from medical school.
