Sour Lemmons Propose Fast Food Tax

In May, we told you that Detroiters didn't take kindly to Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's misguided tax aimed at fast food. The Lemmons' bill proposes a "fast-food restaurant and food service tax" to target "the privilege of selling certain food and beverages." Here's our question: How about a bill that grants consumers the "privilege" to make their own choices without being collared by a new squad of food cops?
