Great ‘Meatout’ Mistake

In a letter to the editor in the Indianapolis Star, Jackman correctly points out that Meatout organizers at the Farm Animal Reform Movement “advocate the destruction of the livestock industry, and they do so by ignoring benefits of a healthy diet that includes reasonable portions of beef, pork and chicken.” (“‘Meatout Day’ was a big deal to Hoosier farmers,” The Indianapolis Star, 4/11/00.)
