Dr. Samuel Epstein (representing Nader’s group Public Citizen), is ranked last among a group of scientists in terms of confidence in level of expertise on environmental cancer by the American Association for Cancer Research. Epstein appeared on National Public Radio recently to condemn life-saving food irradiation technology. His scare tactics were flatly dismissed and debunked by other guests and callers alike in what had to be a blow to the anti-choice foes of irradiation.
