Organic Worth The Price?

Nannies’ arguments for buying organic foods are dismissed by David Lineback, director of the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at the University of Maryland in today’s USA Today: “Organic foods offer no special culinary, health or safety benefits, and growing them carries its own ecological burdens. So eat what you like, but don’t believe you can save the planet — or yourself — merely by buying organic foods.”
