CCF Begins TV Advertising Campaign Exposing PETA’s Violent Agenda

In the first of several airings, Fox News Sunday yesterday ran an ad from the Center for Consumer Freedom skewering People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). You can view the ad on our homepage. In conjunction with the ad, we’ve also unveiled a new website, AnimalScam.com, which includes our research and reporting on the increasingly violent animal liberation movement.

The TV ad features violent scenes of animal rights militants as PETA Campaign Director Bruce Friedrich intones:

… of course we’re going to be, as a movement, blowing things up and smashing windows … I think it’s a great way to bring about animal liberation … I think it would be great if all of the fast-food outlets, slaughterhouses, these laboratories, and the banks that fund them exploded tomorrow.

Applause greets Friedrich’s words, which were captured by the Center for Consumer Freedom at an animal rights conference in 2001.
