WWJS? What Would Julia Say—A Sweet Video

With some food companies swapping out high fructose corn syrup for table sugar, there’s a big hullabaloo about so-called “natural” sugar gaining marketplace momentum. We’ve long held that it’s just a distracting marketing ploy, since the two sugars are nutritionally equal—a view backed up by nutrition professionals and even noted anti-food fanatics.

Today our SweetScam project begins distributing a new video to help dispel the notion that “natural” sugar from beets or sugar cane is somehow less processed and healthier to eat than other sugars. (Table sugar is processed within an inch of its life.)
