The bird-brained anti-choice chicken rights activists at United Poultry Concerns say the "Survivor" television show participants should not eat the chickens they win in an upcoming episode, but instead feed them. Not too long ago, these "Survivor" people were eating rats. Of course, the radical animal rights activists at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals protested that too.

Apparently the falsehoods used in the campaign against swordfish haven't stopped attempts to stop us from eating another favorite seafood, lobster. The Boston Globe gives Chefs Collaborative 2000, SeaWeb and other nannies another chance to spread their anti-choice rhetoric in an article long on opinion, short on facts.

Following on the heels of the fact-less "Give Swordfish A Break" media campaign, some activists are now trying to get the public to stop eating tuna, shrimp, salmon, pollock and more. These anti-choice activists are producing "information" guides they hope will alter consumer-eating habits to align with their political agenda.

The radical vegetarian group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is petitioning Maine Governor Angus S. King against allowing the state to restore a lobster motif to its license plates. "We hope you'll agree that the state's license plate is no place to put the image of an animal who has been boiled alive," said a PETA letter to the governor.
